Worship is central to the Christian life & corporate worship is central to the life of the church.  At New Friendship, our worship services are a key focus of our ministry.  Each week, the church gathers to glorify Christ through prayer, singing and the preaching of God's Word. Through this timeless and holy exercise, the body of Christ is encouraged & challenged.

School

While we worship together, we find that growth takes place in groups.  Sunday School is designed to be a time where you can grow in your faith by studying Scripture together, asking questions and learning from the life experiences of others in your group.  Classes are available for all ages from childhood through adulthood.

Our Sunday Morning Worship Service is the "Main Event" of our weekly schedule.  Each service is designed to lead the church to a place of encouragement in the faith and awareness of God's beauty and holiness.  Our pastor brings sermons grounded in the Word of God that teach and call us to greater faith in Christ.

Prayer &

Prayer is a vital discipline of the Christian life.  It is also an important factor of the health of a church.  Our Midweek Service is a time to gather and pray together over needs within our world, community and church. 
During this time, we also look together into the Word of God to study His promises.

Whether you are "coming back" to the church or this is your first experience, the first visit to a church is a big step.  At New Friendship, we want to help in every way we can to make that step meaningful.  Here are a few questions most people ask before making a visit to church...

What is the Worship Service like?

New Friendship places a great emphasis on the worship service.  Our leadership works diligently to ensure our worship honors Christ and edifies His church.  We have a traditional approach to worship which incorporates the timeless hymns of the faith, sermons centered on Scriptural truth and reverence of God's holiness.

What about my kids?

We love kids at New Friendship.  They are a vital part of our church and bring a spirit of youth and excitement to our church body.  At each of our services, we offer nursery care for infants & toddlers.  We are currently organizing a brand new children's ministry called, "Kingdom Kids," which will feature a worship service dedicated to reaching the kids of New Friendship with the Gospel of Christ.  Our Youth Ministry will reach students 6th grade through High School.  

What do people normally wear?

Sadieville is a community of real people from all walks of life, and we believe our worship services should reflect that diversity.  There is no "dress code" at our church. On any given Sunday, you will find some people dressed casual while some others dress more formal.  We believe our dress should not be a distraction from turning our attention toward God, so just come in what makes you decent and comfortable.

What if I have disabilities?

The church facility is fully handicap accessible.  Our restrooms, sanctuary and class spaces can all be reached via wheelchairs and walkers.  You will also find reserved handicap parking spaces immediately near the accessible ramp leading into the church.
